a) Technical Lecture on “Structure of Elevated Road over Barapullah Nallah, Delhi” delivered by Mr. Vinay Gupta, CEO Tandon Consultants P Ltd on 15th September 2011 at CSOI, Delhi.
2. Forthcoming Events:
Two day National Seminar on “Metro Rail Projects: Indian Scenario” is being organizied byIAStructE at New Delhi during 18-19 November 2011.
It aims to seek discussions amongst engineering professionals – designers, builders; planners, policymakers, financiers, system equipment suppliers the ways and means of accelerating rail based metro implementation, just not in Tier I but also in Tier II and Tier III urban areas. It is the intention of the Association that this platform be used to advocate and support capacity building measures as a means of scaling up the performance in our development process. It is proposed to focus deliberations on planning, design and construction aspects of the metro rail projects.Around 250 delegates from all parts of India representing all stakeholders are expected to attend the seminar.
